Marie

I have lived most of my life a recluse of some sorts, avoiding others because I have had no desire to interact with them. As curious as it sounds, three young boys, of almost an absurd innocence, have drawn me out from my shell, and I began, though somewhat reluctantly, writing sagas of blond cherubs seduced by the dark of night.

My favorite author is Anne Rice, and she happens to be a major influence on the way I write -- her vampire novels had left me with many nights were I was awake ere damn arrived, eyes bright with tears, or rejoicing over the latest chapter that I had devoured.

I live for the chase; nothing else.

On Ruth:
She is an extremely amiable character, childish and mature, graceful and clumsy, with a humorous streak that turns bitter sometimes. She smiles often, is quick to laugh, and leads a life I only vaguely remember. She is my closest friend -- almost a sister, you could say. We are different as night and day, answers to a glorious riddle concerning life.
